Welcome to Winnipeg Bachatafest Competition Registration — where the music never stops and the competition never ends!

Join us for an electrifying experience as we bring you categories of different levels in both Salsa and Bachata. Whether you're a beginner or a pro, there's a spot for everyone on our dance floor!

Our competition isn't just for the adults! Kids can showcase their talent and groove alongside the adults in this fun-filled event. Get ready to show off your moves, meet fellow dancers, and compete in a friendly yet exhilarating environment. It's a celebration of dance for all ages!

COMPETITION REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

Competition is scheduled for Friday afternoon from 12pm-7pm. Registration is now open! Sign up for early bird registration to save some money.

Registration Timeline:
Early Bird - February 20 to March 31
Regular Price - April 1 to May 16
Late Price - May 17 to June 5

Due to time constraint, registration may be closed earlier, so sign up to avoid disappointment!

COMPETITION MUSIC
SUBMISSION

Showcase Music:

Length: No more than 1.5 - 2.5 minutes long (Teams up to 3 minutes)
Dancers have no more than 20 seconds to get into position for performance
Any choreography prior to beginning of music will be counted towards overall performance time
Dancers have a maximum of 20 seconds to conclude and leave the dance floor

Song Submissions Must Be Renamed:

Please RENAME the file name to the following format:
FullName-Category-Solo/Duo or TeamName-Category

Example:
JohnDoe-Amateur-SalsaSolo.mp3 or

There must be one song uploaded per showcase registration
